Best Practices for Predictable and Long-Lasting Posterior Restorations: Resins, Inlays and Crowns
There are a wide-variety of treatment options for posterior restorations. This fast-paced course will allow practitioners to learn how to predictably and efficiently provide patients with long-lasting direct and indirect posterior restorations.
This course will cover preparation guidelines, material selection, and best bonding and cementation practices. There will be a discussion of how to schedule appointments to maximize the use of auxiliaries and minimize chair time. The hands-on component will allow practitioners to practice predictable preparations for three types of indirect ceramics and allow experience with bonding and cementation. Practitioners will practice placing direct restorations using Harmonize and SonicFill.
This course is intended for any practitioner who performs posterior restorations. CAD/CAM technology and its benefits to practitioners and patients will be discussed but current use of CAD/CAM is not a pre-requisite to attending.
