Description:
This workshop will address breakthrough concepts and detail the necessary skills for acquiring the expertise and confidence to perform the highest quality endodontics. Participants in this evidenced-based workshop will become familiar with vertical condensation of thermo-softened gutta-percha using the Elements™ Free Cordless Continuous Wave Obturation System.

As the restoration of the endodontically treated tooth is paramount to its success, an evidenced-based discussion will be presented with respect to current concepts to maximize the longevity of the natural tooth and allow it to function comfortably. To post or not to post? There is a growing body of evidence that fiber posts may actually increase the structural integrity of endodontically treated teeth.

SonicFill™ is the only easy to use, sonic-activated, bulk fill dental posterior composite system for restorations that requires no additional capping layer. Say goodbye to lining and layering, voids, gaps and seams, white lines, long procedure times, and everything else that you don't love about posterior restorations — and say hello to making them fun again. The lecture, Management of Endodontic Complications (C04), is a prerequisite for this workshop. You must register and pay for both courses for the full day experience. Attendance is limited to 30.

Learning objectives:
Participants will be able to:

  • obturate the root canal system in 3-D to capture the natural anatomy using the Elements™ Free Cordless Continuous Wave Obturation System.
  • restore the endodontically treated tooth in the most non-invasive predictable manner possible based on the current evidence.
  • learn how fiber posts may actually increase the structural integrity of endodontically treated teeth.
  • learn about SonicFill™, a sonic-activated, bulk fill dental posterior composite system.
